Spring wedding Mountain Top Resort, Chittenden, VT

A picture-perfect spring wedding at Mountain Top Resort

I am so excited to share such a great experience with my couple (C&J) this past week for their beautiful Vermont Wedding. As a Vermont wedding photographer who adores intimate weddings, this event was a dream come true.

Quick Blog Points: What stood out during the wedding – Top 5 reasons to get married at Mountain Top Resort

  1. The couple stayed at cabins on the resort. This made is easy for not only guests, but also the wedding party to hang, get ready together and party without traveling or dealing with leaving the campus to stay elsewhere. #logcabinwedding
  2. Vermont wedding photographer – this is a popular venue for destination as well as vermonter weddings alike. What helps keep couples coming back to Mountain Top Resort? The view, the venue’s barn and amazing experience (did I mention the food is amazing?!). Because it’s a popular place for those to get married – the sales manager and wedding coordinator teams are amazing at making sure things run on time (shuttles, ceremony space set up, reception location set up and catering services that are epic).
  3. Vermont wedding photographers love this space because of the view the resort offers – from the wedding knoll overlooking the Green Mountains, to the small loft in the barn, couples’ can expect gorgeous views year round. #mountainweddings
  4. Destination wedding photographer – I am so thankful that I am within an hour drive of Mountain Top Resort. This allows for my clients to get the advantage of having a wedding and elopement photographer that knows the area specifically. I love specific spots within the area that are “off the beaten path”. #destinationweddingphotographer
  5. Mountain wedding photo lovers – Mountain Top Resort is an amazing place for weddings, but also elopements. This is the perfect location year round. Spring offers greens and florals, fall offers colors #vermontfall #vermontfallweddings #vermontweddings #vermontelopements #fallinvt – Because the resort offers large and smaller ceremony locations, this is an ideal spot for those who have a smaller guest list, or are eloping. #elopementphotographer

The Setting: Mountain Top resort, Vermont

Mountain Top Resort provided the perfect backdrop for this special day. The weather was beautiful (May Vermont Weddings can be tricky sometimes). The blue skies showcased the Wedding knoll, where most couples choose to hold their wedding ceremonies.

C & J married this past week at the Mountain Top Resort in Chittenden, Vermont. The Spring day had amazing sun, showcasing the Green Mountains. The bride’s makeup was done by Karla Garcia de Alba. Caitlin wore a beautiful Maggie Sottero gown, with a dramatic detachable skirt.

Some of my favorite moments of the day:

The Bride and her mother shared so many quiet and loving moments throughout the day. I am so in love the bride has a similar coffee addiction (her mother manages a Dunk & Donuts). I would say, this is the closest relationship to a real life Gilmore Girl relationship. They did play the theme song at one point <3

The Wedding Ceremony: Personal Vows and Stunning Views of the Green Mountains

The bride and groom exchanged private vows right after a tearful first look. Jared found several four leaf clovers while the bride made a romantic entrance. What was perfect? The couple wanted an intimate moment to share just between each other.

Capturing the photos: Why I love intimate weddings (from your wedding photographer)

As a Vermont wedding photographer, I thrive on capturing the vibes of intimate weddings. There’s something incredibly special about being apart of a small, close-knit celebration. It allows for me to focus on the little details and the genuine emotions that make each wedding unique. This wedding at Mountain Top Resort was a perfect example of why I love what I do. The personal connections, the beautiful setting and the stylish couple came together for an unforgettable day.

The wedding took place overlooking the resort, on the wedding knoll – Mountain Top Resort’s most popular location. The view is stunning, no matter what time of year couple’s get married.

The bride’s best friend actually had an interview during the getting ready portion of the day- so we were lucky enough to do a first look with her just before the ceremony. Happy Tears were flowing!
