LIFE CHANGING – YOUR SELF LOVE JOURNEY

As an adult, I remember looking at women’s body standards growing up through present. I was a 90’s kid, and the influence of super thin body types and social beauty “norms” effected where I could even shop as a young teen. From genetics to having a poor relationship with food (hello generation trauma), my body and I are just starting to get to respect each other. As a wiser woman now at 36, I look back and talk to my younger self. I wish I had loved my dimples, beautiful hair and energy for making people laugh at 16. at 25 and 33. I was outgoing and smart, and I wish I would have loved all of me vs. feeling less than.

For myself personally, I am obsessed with boudoir for the same reasons I wish I had felt differently about my younger self. I want all women to identify what they love about themselves in this vary moment, verses telling the world “I am changing this, or I need to do that”. Reasons why boudoir is apart of this amazing self love journey and why everyone should do it:

  1. Self-Empowerment and Confidence: Boudoir photography can be a powerful tool for boosting self-confidence and promoting self-acceptance. By celebrating their bodies and expressing themselves in a private and intimate setting, individuals may gain a sense of empowerment and a positive body image.
  2. Celebrating Milestones: Boudoir sessions are often scheduled to commemorate significant life events, such as engagements, weddings, anniversaries, or birthdays. They can serve as a personal gift to a partner or a way to capture a momentous time in one’s life.
  3. Intimate Gifts: Boudoir photos can make unique and intimate gifts for partners. The images are often sensual and tasteful, providing a deeply personal and cherished present that strengthens the emotional connection between partners.
  4. Preparing for a Special Occasion: Some individuals opt for boudoir photography sessions as a way to prepare for events like weddings or fitness competitions. It can serve as a personal motivator or a way to document their physical appearance at a specific point in time.
  5. Artistic Expression: Boudoir photography is a form of art, and for some people, it is a way to express themselves creatively. The photographer and subject work together to create tasteful, elegant, and alluring images that showcase the beauty and emotions of the individual.

love you boudoir babes – remember, All bodies are boudoir bodies!
