As an #elopementphotographer my favorite times to recommend eloping in MA are the following:
- The best time to elope in Cape Cod? Spring and Late Summer. Starting in late april through first week of June, the weather is warmer and the spring colors are in full bloom. School hasn’t wrapped up for the summer yet and graduations haven’t happened. You can typically have an even quieter experience during the weekday, where weekend travelers tend to congest roads, air bnbs, hotels and guest houses. Late summer is typically the same – once school is in session, families and large crowds aren’t occupying the local towns.
- Take into consideration temps – it will always be cooler by the ocean. The poor bride in these photos wanted barefoot moments, and to be fair, the sand and water was cool in early May (pack layers and footwear helps).
